Copyright & Content Complaints

What this page is for

LinkToGroups publishes links and short descriptions of communities operated by other people. If material published here — a title, a description, an image, or the listing of a community — infringes your copyright or trademark, tell us and we will act.

Please note we cannot remove content from inside a third-party community; only its operator or the hosting platform can do that. What we can do is remove the listing from this directory.

Sending a notice

Email [email protected] with the subject "Copyright complaint", including:

• the URL of each listing or page you are complaining about;
• a description of the work or mark you own, and evidence of your rights — for example a registration number or a link to the original;
• your name, organisation and contact details;
• a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent, or the law;
• a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them;
• your signature, electronic or physical.

An incomplete notice will slow things down. A knowingly false one may expose you to liability.

What happens next

We aim to acknowledge complaints within a few business days. Where a complaint is valid on its face, we remove or disable the listing and tell the person who submitted it why.

If you believe your listing was removed wrongly

Reply to the notice we sent, or contact us, with the listing URL, the reason you believe the material is lawful — for example that you own it or are licensed to use it — and your contact details. We will review it, restore the listing if your objection is sound, and pass your response to the complainant where appropriate.

Repeat infringers

Accounts that repeatedly submit infringing listings are suspended or terminated.

Other kinds of complaint

For content that is illegal, abusive, or otherwise breaches our Acceptable Use Policy, use the report control on the listing itself — that reaches our moderation queue directly and is the fastest route. This page is specifically for rights-holder complaints.
