Delete Your Account

Effective: 7 October 2026

You can delete your LinkToGroups account, and the personal data linked to it, at any time — whether you signed up with an email address, with Google, or with Telegram, and whether you use the website, the mobile apps or our Telegram Mini App.

Delete it yourself

Sign in, open Account settings and choose Delete account. If your account has a password you will be asked for it, so nobody holding only your device can do this. Deletion takes effect immediately: you are signed out on every device, and we send a confirmation to your email address or Telegram.

Or ask us

If you cannot sign in, ask us instead:

• Signed up with email or Google — email [email protected] from the email address on your account, with the subject "Delete my account".
• Signed up with Telegram (no email on the account) — open LinkToGroups in Telegram, which signs you in, and delete the account from Account settings. If that is not possible, add an email address in your account settings first (we send it a code to confirm it is yours), then email us from that address as above. This is how we know the request comes from the account holder and not from someone who only knows your @username.

We confirm receipt within a few business days and complete the deletion within 30 days. If we cannot confirm that the request comes from the account holder, we will ask for more information before acting.

What we delete

• Your profile — display name, email address, password, bio, website and country.
• The link to your Google or Telegram account.
• Your listings, which are removed from the directory, and your saved listings.
• Your sign-in sessions on every device, and the notification registrations of devices signed in to your account.

What we keep, and why

• Payment and wallet records — kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires (currently up to six years), then deleted.
• Records of moderation decisions and reports — kept for a limited period where needed to prevent fraud and abuse or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
• Aggregated statistics — counts such as daily listing views, which do not identify you.

Wallet balance. Deleting your account does not refund an unused wallet balance automatically. If you hold one, you will be asked to confirm before the deletion goes ahead — contact us first if you want to discuss it.

Deletion is permanent. A deleted account cannot be restored. You are welcome to sign up again later, but you will start with a new, empty account.

Other options

• Notifications only — to stop push notifications without deleting your account, turn them off in the app's settings or in your device settings.
• Telegram messages only — block our Telegram bot.
• Google access — you can remove LinkToGroups' access to your Google account at myaccount.google.com/permissions. That stops future Google sign-ins; it does not delete your LinkToGroups account.
